Zain Sudan FY revenues up 36% to SDG 7.1 bln

Zain Sudan’s revenues grew by 36 percent year-on-year to SDG 7.1 billion in 2017. That's equal to USD 419 million, down 41 percent in USD terms due to the depreciation in the Sudanese currency. EBITDA increased by 37 percent to SDG 2.8 billion (USD 166 million, down 43%), and net income increased 173 percent to SDG 1.1 billion (USD 65 million, down 29%). Data revenues (excluding SMS and VAS) formed 16 percent of total revenues, after annual growth of 58 percent.
