Lois Rose Medina

Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 9 at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City. A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 pm, Thursday, Feb. 8 at the funeral home.

Lois was born on Feb. 27, 1933 in Sioux City to Luis Medina and Adelia (Chapman) Hoffman. She graduated from Bishop Heelan High School in 1951.

Lois worked many years at Winn Charger and Zenith. She later worked as a housekeeper at Hilton Inn Motel, retiring after many years of employment. Lois was an avid reader and loved to bake all kinds of desserts.

Survivors include her sister, Sharon Garcia; brother, Terry Medina; numerous nieces and nephews; and many beloved friends.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Becky DeCora; and brothers, Richard "Sharkey" Medina and Anthony Medina.
