MOST ACCURATE FORECAST: Cool-down just days away

PHOENIX - It's another warm week in the Valley of the Sun.

High pressure is still anchored off the west coast, keeping Valley highs in the upper 70s to low 80s each afternoon this week.

The mornings will be chilly, dropping into the 40s and low 50s each day.

All eyes are on the weekend as we track a storm that could finally bring us some cooler weather.

Forecast models show a storm system moving through our state Sunday and Monday and it could actually bring some rain and higher elevation snow our way along with that drop in temperatures.

Right now, it looks like we could see a slight chance of showers in the Valley on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday along with a slight chance of snow in the higher terrain.

There is still a lot of uncertainty on exactly what this storm will do, so stay tuned and we'll keep you posted as we get closer.
