PRINCEVILLE — A five point first quarter proved costly for Galva in a 68-54 Lincoln Trail Conference loss to Princeville on Tuesday.

The Wildcats were outscored 13-5 in the first quarter and trailed 37-30 at the break. The Princes pulled away with a 17-13 third quarter.

Cooper Hoxworth led Galva with 24 points and Mason Kaiser added 13.

 

South Fulton 46, North Fulton 39

At Astoria, the Wildcats trailed 22-20 at the end of the first half and could not recover in a Prairieland Conference loss to the Rebels.

South Fulton sealed the win with an 18-13 fourth quarter.

Jacob Schleich led North Fulton with 18 points and Courtney Patterson added 16.

In other area boys basketball action, the ROWVA/Williamsfield vs. West Central boys basketball game was postponed to Thursday.
