ROCHESTER — Cornerstone VNA, which offers home care and hospice services, has been selected again as a beneficiary of the Hannaford Cause Bag program. The Hannaford Cause Bag program launched in October 2015 and is designed to support local nonprofits through the sale of the reusable Hannaford Helps bag.
Cornerstone VNA was selected by Hannaford store leadership as the February beneficiary of the program at the 833 Central Ave. Hannaford store in Dover. For every Hannaford Helps reusable bag with the good karma or cause message purchased at the Dover Hannaford during February, Cornerstone VNA will receive a $1 donation. As alumni in the program, and due to the fact that they are celebrating their 105th anniversary this year, Cornerstone VNA has a new fundraising goal of $105, which is equivalent to 105 bags purchased.
“We are honored to be selected once again as the beneficiary of the Hannaford Helps Reusable Bag Program at the Central Ave location in Dover,” states Erika Lee, Director of Advancement at Cornerstone VNA. “We are grateful to Hannaford for their continued support of our organization and their ongoing commitment to giving back to the community.”
