Big Brothers Big Sisters of West Central Ohio celebrated its Bigs, volunteers and specific donors with a volunteer and donor appreciation dinner on Jan. 30 at Old Barn Out Back, along with a motivating talk about volunteerism by Amber Martin, coordinator of Allen County Family & Children First Council.
We honored volunteers Curtis Butler, Sr. and Susan Wieser, who give of themselves selflessly to our program; recognized Bigs who have been mentoring for five-plus years and presented certificates of appreciation to our Bigs.
We also honored our donors, Lima Moose Lodge 199, Kenton Moose Family Center No. 428 and Kenton Women of the Moose 863. We are grateful to those for making a difference. We couldn’t do this without you!
