Valuables worth Rs 80,000 were burgled from Murli Nagar under Nishatpura police station area on Monday.
Police said that the victim Rahila Khan’s mother was undergoing treatment and Khan’s family had gone to meet her in the hospital and on return they found valuables were burgled.
The victim in her complaint stated that she along with family had gone to meet her mother and as her condition was worsen victim decided to stay and when she returned on Monday the valuables were found burgled.
Victim approached police and lodged a complaint. Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, goods worth Rs 60000 were burgled from Spring Valley society under Katara Hills police station area on Monday. The victim CK Sinha in his compliant stated that TV, Laptop and household goods worth Rs 60000 were burgled when he had gone for work. The police have registered a case under section 457 and 380 of the IPC.
In another case, four bags carrying valuables of Rs 50000 were stolen from Jaora- Bhopal bus on Monday; a case was registered by Teelajamalpura police.
The victim Ritu Sewani along with family had gone to Jawra to attend a family function and on his way to city four bags were stolen. The victim boarded bus bearing registration number MP04EA3142 along with his family and later when they alighted off four bags were found missing.
Goods and Rs 8000 cash were in the bags. The total loss was around Rs 50000 claimed the victim. The police have registered a case under section 379 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
