Calling Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar ‘Paltu Ram,’ RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav today said that law and order situation has gone worst in Bihar where incidents of murder were taking place on day to day basis. Talking to the media persons after appearing in fodder scam case RC47A/96 before Special CBI Court in Ranchi, Yadav also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that his 56 inch chest appears to have become 36 inch hence soldiers were being killed on the borders.
“Nitish keeps on changing his statement where incidents of murder are taking place on day to day basis,” said Prasad. Law and order situation is at its worst in Bihar,” he added.
Senior Public Prosecutor (PP) of CBI BMP Singh said that statements of a prosecution witness were registered in the Court in the matter on Tuesday.
Remarkably, the CBI has produced more than 462 witnesses before the Special CBI Court related to fodder scam case RC47A/96 during which almost all of them have accepted that they were made to sign on fake fodder bills.
Prasad is presently lodged in Birsa Munda Central Jail after a special CBI Court of Shiv Pal Singh on January 6, pronounced 3.5 years’ jail and also slapped a fine of Rs 10 lakh for him in fodder scam case RC64A/96, related to fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 89, 4417 lakh from Deoghar Treasury with the help of 6 fake allotment letters during 1991 to 1994.
Former MP RK Rana, Jagdish Sharma, Bek Julious, Phoolchand Mandal, Md Sayeed, Triparari Mohan Prasad, Dayanand Kashyap and other accused persons also appeared with Prasad.
Meanwhile, Prasad was produced before another Special CBI Court of Shiv Pal Singh in fodder scam case RC38A/96 before through video conferencing.
