Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital will be getting a sexy new visitor before this season of Grey's Anatomy is up.
Former Felicity-heartthrob Scott Speedman will be joining Grey's Anatomy in a top-secret role, TV Line reports. He's currently being billed as a guest star, but there's no word on how long his arc will be or if there is potential for him to join as a series regular later down the road.
It may be wishful thinking, but after her near miss with Riggs (Martin Henderson) this year, isn't it about time Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) got a dreamy new guy to hook up with? Speedman definitely fits the bill, but he currently stars on Animal Kingdom on TNT. There have been rumors he's gearing up to leave the series after wrapping up his character's storyline -- his character was gravely injured in the Season 2 finale of Animal Kingdom -- but until his exit is confirmed, everything's just speculation (and maybe a little hope).
Grey's Anatomy airs Thursdays at 8/7c on ABC.
