Deputies: Missing South Carolina woman may be heading to Atlanta

- South Carolina deputies are urgently searching for a missing 75-year-old woman, and they believe she's heading toward Atlanta.

The Sumter County Sheriff's Office said that Judith Cole left Sumter at around 7:30 Monday morning and never returned. The found that her credit card has been used in Birmingham to buy gas.

After an investigation, they found that she spoke with someone and asked them how to get to Sumter.

Police say that Cole may be confused and disoriented. Her family told police that she has Alzheimer's.

Cole is described as being 5-feet-7-inches tall with gray hair and brown eyes.

Her car is a dark gray 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the license tag FFU 427. It also has a front license tag that has a picture of a Tasmanian Devil.
