KELOLAND Residents Cleaning Up After Monday Snow

Matt Holsen reports:
It's back to pushing snow for many of you on Monday, including longtime Sioux Falls resident Ken Alvine. He got out early to clean up his driveway and sidewalk.

"I think it's pretty. Easy to shovel. Let's hope it quits pretty soon though," Alvine said.

David Wells is a Marine Corps veteran who moved here from Arizona about a year ago.

"It's 80s there this week so, that's pretty nice," Wells said.

Wells is brushing off this winter blast with positive thoughts. He says it could always be worse.

"Kind of happy it snowed. Everyone is talking about how great the winters are here or how bad they are. This winter has been pretty easy," Wells said.

The snow is a part of what could be a cold February but it's all a part of living here in KELOLAND.

Bitter cold temps this week mean Alvine will opt to stay where it's warm.

"I think I'll stay inside. Not do too much outside," Alvine said.

But with the potential for more snow, the man who works from home will likely be back out here with his shovel a few more times before the month is over.

"Well, unfortunately I may have to come out again," Alvine said.
