WATERBURY – Police are investigating yet another shooting in the city’s North End that left a man with what police suspect was a grazing gunshot wound to the head on Monday afternoon.

A gunman is suspected of opening fire near the corner of North Walnut Street and Division Street at about 3:15 p.m. A resident in the area said five or six shots were heard.

A wounded man made his way into the emergency room of Saint Mary’s Hospital with the gunshot wound to the head, but, as of mid afternoon, the man was expected to survive the injury.
