John T. Cramblett

John T. Cramblett, 72, of New Concord, died Saturday (February 3, 2018) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge.

He was born Aug. 19, 1945 in Cambridge, son of the late William J. Cramblett and Leatha (Wiley) Cramblett.

He worked as a self-employed truck driver for many years.

Mr. Cramblett was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Cambridge Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2901, American Legion, and Disabled American Veterans.

He was Protestant by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, June Davis; and a brother, Bill Cramblett.

He is survived by a son, John L. Cramblett (Jenny DiMaggio) of Dahlonega GA; two daughters, Paulla (David) McLellan of Dahlonega GA and Loretta (Jose) Magana of Dahlonega GA; two sisters, Evelyn Greenwalt and Bonnie Kiggans, both of Cambridge; five grandchildren, Jonathan Cramblett, Jacob Cramblett, Cheyenne McLellan, Summer McLellan, and Jessica Cramblett; and a special friend, Donna Allison of East Liverpool.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Feb. 6, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 1 p.m. with Jim Gibson officiating.

Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge, with military graveside honors conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.

As an expression of sympathy, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Guernsey County Veterans Council, PO Box 572, Cambridge OH 43725.
