ABC’s “Good Morning America” chief anchor George Stephanopoulos and his wife, Ali Wentworth, have listed their Hamptons mansion for $5.995 million, according to the listings on Sotheby’s International Realty and Trulia.
Stephanopoulos, 56, who rose to prominence as communications director in the Clinton White House, also hosts ABC’s Sunday political show “This Week.” Actor and comedian Wentworth, 53, appeared in TV’s “In Living Color” and in the movies “Jerry Maguire,” “Office Space” and “It’s Complicated.” Stephanopoulos and Wentworth have two children.
The couple purchased the 4,800-square-foot home in May 2013 for $4.5 million and previously listed it for $6.995 million in May 2016, according to Variety.

The five-bedroom, seven-bathroom home sits at the end of a private lane on nearly one and a half acres of land, according to the listing. Surrounded by densely planted trees and hydrangea bushes, the gated home is secluded from view by any of the neighbors yet is within easy access of local beaches and the center of Southampton village. A pebble drive leads to the main entrance of the house.
The home’s beach house aesthetic is apparent from the entrance foyer all the way to the back yard. Generous doorway openings between each room create a light, airy feel to the entire house. Tall windows also allow natural light to reach every corner of the home. Outdoors, a covered veranda, accessible from several interior rooms, looks out onto an expansive lawn with an oversized swimming pool and sunken tennis court.
