WAPAKONETA — Fifth-grade language arts teacher at Wapakoneta Middle School Tracey Otto celebrated World Read Aloud Day this last Thursday by inviting guests to read aloud to her students.

Guest readers included Principal Will Snyder, seventh grade teachers Kelly Maurer and Dawn Rankin, fifth grade teacher Taryn Newman and sixth grade intervention specialist Sarah Jamison.

World Read Aloud Day brings attention to the importance of reading aloud and sharing stories and is celebrated worldwide.
