The Blues are currently facing an off-the-field crisis as manager Antonio Conte faces the axe while in a stand-off with owner Roman Abramovich.
Chelsea’s Premier League title defence has been pretty non-existent and they now sit close to dropping out of the Champions League places.
And Real Madrid are looking to take advantage of the situation by poaching Eden Hazard in the eye of the storm.
According to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, Real president Florentino Perez is hoping to land the Belgian star at the end of the season.

And he is hoping to lower the price he would have to pay by including Karim Benzema in the switch.
Diario Gol add that talks have been held between the two clubs and Chelsea stressed their desire to keep hold of Hazard.
Perez is trying to sell misfiring Benzema because he has only scored two league goals all season.
His terrible form, coupled with Cristiano Ronaldo’s, have led to Real sitting fourth in the La Liga table.

If Chelsea do not take Perez up on the offer to sign the French forward then he apparently has a plan B.
And that involves Tottenham agreeing on an exchange for Harry Kane.
But Spurs have always been adamant that they want to keep hold of the England international for as long as possible.
