BEMIDJI, Minn.—A person was taken away in an ambulance after apparently driving a truck into a financial advisory office Monday evening, Feb. 5.

Neighbors who live immediately across the street from the office said they heard the crash at about 6:40 p.m., then saw a woman open the truck's door and call 911. A pair of tracks plowed through their yard indicate the truck narrowly avoided their home before it struck the building.

The truck was removed about an hour later, and firefighters on scene covered the hole it left with plywood.

No information on the condition of the driver of the truck, or if anyone was in the building at the time of the crash, was released. Staff at the Bemidji Police Department said they planned to release information about the crash Tuesday morning, Feb. 6.

In addition to the fire department, the Bemidji Police Department and Bemidji Ambulance were among the agencies responding.
