NEW CASTLE — The Crisis Shelter of Lawence County will hold its 30th annual Gala Auction Winter Wonderland on March 3 at Scottish Rite Cathedral, 110 E. Lincoln Ave. in the city.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $40 each and can be obtained at the shelter office, 1218 W. State St., New Castle, online at www.crisisshelter.org or by calling 724-652-9206. No tickets will be sold at the door.
This year's auction will include sports memorabilia, jewelry, designer handbags and more. You also can purchase 50/50, Wagon of Cheer and quilt tickets. Those who would like to make donations to the auction should call the shelter office.
For those unable to make it to the auction, the shelter has a smartphone app people can use for $10 to see items and make real-time bids. Call the shelter to register for the app.
