THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The adjournment motion moved by the opposition over the monetary dispute case involving Binoy Kodiyeri, son of CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, witnessed some unruly scenes in the assembly between the ruling and opposition members. The opposition walked out of the assembly after permission was denied for the motion.

Anil Akkara sought permission for the motion. Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan who first gave ruling that the issue cannot be raised as adjournment motion, later permitted them to present it. He reminded them that opposition’s act was against law.

Anil showed Binoy’s bounced cheque. He said that he is voicing the issue based on evidences. Anil also alleged that the son of ex-minister E P Jayarajan was also involved in a financial fraud case.

Meantime, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said the opposition is trying to gain political advantage out of it.  The case which happened abroad cannot be raised in the assembly. None from the assembly has any connection in it. This issue cannot be solved neither in the state nor in India. Some centers are deliberately raising this issue against the government, he said.
