MILLDALE – Peter P. Stolfi, 87, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at home surrounded by his family. He was the son of Mary and Salvatore Stolfi.
He leaves his wife, Anna; daughter, Cheryl Donavan and her husband, Dennis, of Watertown; daughter, Michele Flugrad of Middletown; and son, Robert Stolfi and his wife, Tamara, of Windham, Maine; his grandchildren, Chelsea Donovan, Samantha Flugrad, Rebecca Sicinsky and her husband, Francisco; and great-grandson, Ramsey; his sister, Lois Lombard of Prospect; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Including his parents, Peter was predeceased by his sisters, Katherine Stolfi and Rose Newell.
Peter was born in Waterbury, educated there and graduated from Goodwin Tech as a plumber. He was in the Navy during the Korean War, after which he worked at and retired from New Britain General Hospital.
In keeping with Peter’s wishes, services will be at Woodtick Memorial, 420 Woodtick Road, Wolcott, on Thursday at 10 a.m. Family and friends may gather from 9 a.m. until the service. Burial will be at the discretion of the family.
