Detectives arrested BNP leader Habib-un-Nabi Sohel from Malibagh in the capital early Tuesday.
Detective Branch of police arrested Sohel, BNP joint secretary general and Dhaka metropolitan south unit president, from Malibagh Bazar area early hours just after returning from Sylhet with BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia's motorcade, DB police official confirmed the news.
A number of cases were filed against Sohel with different Police Stations in the capital.
