Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray demands common access pass, ticket for all public transport services

Mumbai: The Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray has written a letter to the Maharashtra state Chief Minister (CM) Devendra Fadnavis with a demand to introduce common access pass or ticketing system for all public transports, currently providing commuting service actively in Mumbai.
In the letter Thackarey has stated there are various public transport services like Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) bus, Mumbai Metro and Mono Rail. Therefore, instead of having different tickets or passes, for the convenience of commuters, all public transport ticketing facility should be brought under one ‘Common access pass.’
In addition, the letter states the Mumbai Metro project is going on with full speed in the city therefore with one common access pass or ticketing facility commuters do not have to stand in a different queue and waste their time. It will save people time and hence, should be implemented immediately he requested.
