Hillview College will meet Naparima College in a top of the table clash today as matches in the 2018 PowerGen Secondary Schools Cricket League continues.
The two teams that are showing early form will clash at Lewis Street, San Fernando, as they look to stay on top of the eight-team championship division. Hillview, the defending champion is out front on 37 points after its two games and will receive its toughest challenge to date, when it square-off against Naparima College. The boys from Paradise Pasture have so far garnered 35 points from their two matches.
Third place Carapichaima East on 21 points will come up against neighbours Presentation College Chaguanas. The Caps boys will begin as favourites as they have shown good fight this season, while Pres are yet to win a match with only five points in their account. Fatima College under the hand of Miguel Paty will be looking to get the better of Barrackpore West in what should be a keen mid table encounter in Mucurapo. The struggling St. Benedicts College will face last place Signal who are yet to open their account.
There will also be action in the North and South Championship. In the North impressive leaders Manzanilla will come up against St. Mary's College at Serpentine Road. Manzanilla has collected 40 points from two matches, while St. Mary's are third on 31 points.
In the South Championship, ASJA San Fernando currently out front on 38 points, will play Presentation College San Fernando who has so far secured 22 points.
