Crosslake celebrates the 15th annual WinterFest on Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 1-3, with a multitude of activities, including SoupFest at noon Saturday, Feb. 3, at establishments across town.
Following is a complete schedule of Crosslake WinterFest events:
Thursday, Feb. 1
9 a.m.: Find the Lost Medallion - The first of three daily clues will be released at local merchants and online at www.crosslake.com. The winner will receive a $1,200-plus prize basket courtesy of Crosslake Chamber member businesses. The prize basket is on display at Lake Country Crafts & Cones.
4-8 p.m.: Thirsty Thursday Shopping - Passages of Time.
6 p.m.: Shake and Spa Party - The Crossfire.
Friday, Feb. 2
9 a.m.: Find the Lost Medallion - The second of three daily clues will be released at local merchants and online at www.crosslake.com.
3:30-6:30 p.m.: Cabin Fever Carnival and open enrollment - Crosslake Community School.
Buy a button to play all the games. Admission is $7 in advance (Moonlite Bay, Crosslake Community School or Crosslake Chamber office) or $10 at the door. There will be kids games, bake walk and food. Meet Bobber the Water Safety Dog.
6:30 p.m.: Meat Raffle - Crosslake-Fifty Lakes American Legion.
7-9 p.m.: Celebrate WinterFest - Crosslake Community Center. Bring your skates and sleds for pond skating, snow mountain, bonfire, s'mores, horse-drawn sleigh rides, Crosslake fire trucks on display, games, warming house, hot apple cider and music with DJ JP. WinterFest gear, including sweatshirts, beer koozies and wristbands, will be on sale.
8 p.m.: Live music featuring Moe Dell - The Bourbon Room.
9 p.m.: Fireworks - Crosslake Community Center.
10 p.m.: Music featuring DJ's JP and Chad - Moonlite Bay Family Restaurant and Bar.
Saturday, Feb. 3
8-11:30 a.m.: Crosslake firefighters pancake breakfast - Crosslake Lutheran Church.
8-11 a.m.: Stonehouse Coffee tasting - Lake Country Crafts and Cones.
9 a.m.: Find the Lost Medallion - Third and final of three daily clues will be released at local merchants and online at www.crosslake.com.
10 a.m.: Cross country ski - Crosslake Community Center. Bring your own equipment.
10 a.m.-5 p.m.: Craft and vendor show - Crosslake Community School-Old Fire Hall.
11 a.m.: Tiki bar and beach bonfire - Manhattan Beach Lodge.
11 a.m.-1 p.m.: Kids games - Moonlite Bay Family Restaurant and Bar.
11 a.m.-dusk: Helicopter rides (weather permitting) - Moonlite Bay Family Restaurant and Bar.
Noon: SoupFest tasting begins - participating merchant locations. Download the Crosslake App to vote for your favorite and win a prize package valued at $270.
Noon: Ice car racing on Big Pine Lake - The Cedar Chest.
Noon: Bocce ball tournament - Riverside Saloon and Eatery.
Noon-3 p.m.: Family fun - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Campground. Bonfire, s'mores, coloring contest, water safety T-shirt color-ons and Bobber the Water Safety Dog.
Noon: Beer tasting - Barstock Liquors.
1 p.m.: A-HOLE tournament with cash prizes - The Bourbon Room Saloon & Eatery.
1 p.m.: Italian Outdoor Olympics - All new games, bonfire and free s'mores and cocoa at Maucieri's Italian Bistro.
