Before the the frenzy around Chelsea's disastrous game and Antoni Conte's future is questioned, lets appreciate that Watford performance. When Chelsea went down to ten men Javi Gracia encouraged his team to push forward and punish their visitors.

Gerard Deulofeu's attacking play and incisiveness in the final third was excellent in the second half and he really helped Watford put Chelsea to the sword.

Tiemoue Bakayoko set the tone with his early red card when two foolish yellows lead to his dismissal. Watford made their man advantage tell and Troy Deeney gave them the lead from the spot. Chelse fought back and were galvanised with Olivier Giroud's introduction from the bench. Eden Hazard entered his name into this weekend's goal of the competition with a stunning equaliser.

Watford refused to let their lead go and Daryl Janmaat, Gerard Deulofeu and Roberto Pereyra scored late to complete a deserved victory over Chelsea.

87: Gerard Deulofeu drives from deep, takes it past Gary Cahill and slotting the ball into the bottom corner after a great run. He starts his run from inside his own half, that's a superb solo effort. Cahill is livid with David Luiz but the England midfielder just continued to back off Deulofeu.

81: We've seen some great goals this weekend and Eden Hazard has just joined the club with a screamer. He collects the ball from deep, touches it around two challenges and fires a precise shot into the corner of the net from outside the area. Has he just handed his manager a lifeline?

75: 'Barcelona, we're coming for you' sing the Chelsea fans. They're going to have to be a lot better against the Spanish league leaders, because if they play like this against Lionel Messi and co, they're in for a thrashing.

Watford 1-0 Chelsea

74: Almost 75 minutes into the game and I am intrigued to say that Chelsea have not registered a shot on target, not one. Olivier Giroud is now on but the Blues still look a world away from scoring.
