Gold Teaser: Akshay Kumar plays Bengali coach, wanting to bring gold medal for India

Akshay Kumar is all set for his upcoming movie ‘PadMan’ but before that his new venture ‘Gold’ movie teaser is out. The teaser looks quite impressive and after watching it once you will ask for more. The movie is a sports biopic based on the life of hockey player Balbir Singh SRM who was on the team that won the first Olympic medal for India post-Independence in 1948. Akshay Kumar is playing a Bengali coach who assures to bring gold for India.

The films also stars Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh, Vineet Kumar Singh and marks the Bollywood debut of TV hottie – Mouni Roy. The news was that entire team went under hardcore training to look like real hockey players. They were trained under former hockey captain of India Sandeep Singh, who made sure that they are well trained in this sport.
Talking more about the movie it was shot in Yorkshire and the Midlands, England. The movie will take you back in those time when India won its first gold in hockey.
