Market Now: YES Bank, ITC among most traded stocks
Benchmark indices tanked over 1 per cent in Monday's trade tracking a selloff in US stocks on Friday amid rising US bond yields.
NEW DELHI: Shares of YES Bank (number of shares traded: 0.34 crore), ITC (0.32 crore), ICICI Bank (0.31 crore) and State Bank of India (0.29 crore) were among the most traded stocks on NSE in morning trade on Monday.

Shares of Axis Bank (0.25 crore), Vedanta (0.24 crore), Idea Cellular (0.24 crore), SAIL (0.22 crore), DLF (0.21 crore), Ashok Leyland (0.21 crore), Punjab National Bank (0.20 crore) and BEL (0.19 crore) were also among the most traded stocks.

Benchmark indices tanked over 1 per cent in Monday's trade tracking a selloff in US stocks on Friday amid rising US bond yields.

The domestic market, which was a bit disappointed with Budget 2018, had nothing to take heart from as most of the Asian markets too were trading over 1 per cent lower.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 102 points down at 10,659, while the BSE Sensex was down 310 points at 34,757 around 09:45 am (IST).

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 10 were in the green while 40 were in the red.

Gainers of the Nifty50 index included, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and Infosys.

On the other hand, Vedanta, YES Bank, Bharti Infratel, Indiabulls Housing Finance and Hindalco Industries were among the top losers among the Nifty stocks.
