Delhi Honour Killing: CCTV footage captures last moments of photographer Ankit Saxena

A CCTV footage has emerged of the alleged Delhi honour killing case in which 23-year-old professional photographer Ankit Saxena was stabbed to death by the family of his 20-year-old Muslim girlfriend on Thursday in Delhi’s Khayala area.
In the footage, Ankit, is seen in a black leather jacket and talking on the mobile phone just moments before he was ambushed by his girlfriend’s family and killed in the middle of the road. Three men are seen arriving on a bike and parking their vehicle nearby.

Just a few steps from where he was last seen speaking on the phone, Ankit was attacked and stabbed by the mother, father, uncle and younger brother of the 20-year-old Muslim woman he had been dating for three years. All four have been caught, including the woman’s brother, who is underage. The couple was reportedly planning to marry.
According to eyewitnesses, Ankit’s throat was slit by the girl’s family, who also beat up his mother. In front of his helpless mother, Ankit was stabbed in the neck with a knife by his girlfriend’s father and uncle. Communal tensions rose in the area immediately after the incident.
