Hubballi: Two people were killed and eight others injured in two
separate accidents in
Dharwad district on Monday.
In the first case under the jurisdiction of
Hubballi Rural police station, two motorcycle-borne people died on the spot after their vehicle collided with a bus near Hebsur village on the outskirts of the city.
The victims Shivanand, 36, and Gedappa, 38, were proceeding towards Kiresur after filling fuel.
In another accident, eight people were injured after a
Tata Ace collided with a bus on Hebballi Road in Dharwad taluk. Three injured people were admitted to
KIMS in Hubballi. Five others, who sustained minor injuries, were treated at a local hospital.
