BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has arrived here on Monday afternoon.
Her motorcade reached in Sylhet city at about 3:45pm and straight drove to the Sylhet Circuit House at about 4:30pm.
General Secretary of Sylhet Mohanagar BNP Badruzzaman Selim said, after taking rest for sometime, the BNP chief will offer prayers at the shrines of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) and Hazrat Shah Paran (RA). She leaves Sylhet tonight, he added.
BNP Standing Committee members Mirza Abbas, Barrister Jamiruddin Sircar and Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury are accompanying Khaleda in the visit.
Earlier in the morning, Khaleda left her Gulshan residence for Sylhet around 9:15am.
