SSC students among three dead in Rajshahi road accident

Three people, including two SSC students, have been killed after their motorcycle was rammed by a truck in Rajshahi’s Puthia.
The accident occurred on a road in the Upazila’s Tarapur around 9:30am, said Puthia Police Station OC Sayedur Rahman.
The dead have been identified as Rakib, 16, Mostafizur, 16, and his father Abdul Momin, 40.
The three were on their way to an examination centre from Puthia Sadar to Baneshwar when they were hit by a sand truck speeding from the opposite direction. The truck drove away and all three died on the spot.
The fire service recovered the bodies and took them to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital after being informed by locals.
