A judge this morning ordered police personnel to remove murder accused Michael McLean from the courtroom after he again became boisterous.

McLean's latest outburst came after doctors from the Department of Correctional Services (DCS) revealed, in  court, that he was evaluated over the weekend and they saw nothing that would prevent his trial from continuing.

The accused had told the court that prison doctors had indicated that he should be taken to the Kingston Public Hospital for treatment today.

After the findings of the doctors were revealed McLean became boisterous.

"This is not justice, this is not justice," he protested at one point and repeated his demand to contact the Independent Commission of Investigations.

Justice Bertram Morrison, who is presiding over the trial, urged him to calm down, but he flatly refused.

"Please remove him from the dock," Morrison ordered police personnel.

"This is not fair, this is not fair," he shouted as he was led from the courtroom.

His latest outburst has led lead prosecutor Paula Llewellyn to move to increase security at the court.

"Only two police officers are manning the courts so in an abundance of caution I'm going to have my CPOs  (Close Protection Officers) here in court," Llewellyn said.
