Christopher Letts elected to ACG Detroit board of directors

Christopher T.R. Letts, of West Bloomfield Township, was elected as president of the Association of Corporate Growth (ACG) Detroit chapter. Letts is the youngest president elected since the Detroit chapter was founded in 1984. He will serve a two-year term on the local ACG chapter board of directors.

ACG Detroit is a 450-member nonprofit business organization of private equity firms, corporations and lenders that invest in middle-market companies. ACG Detroit was named Chapter of the Year for the past two years by ACG Global.

Letts is second vice president and cofounder of The Pine Harbor Group at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. He joined ACG Detroit in 2013 and has previously served as a board member of the organization, most recently serving as program chairman, planning and organizing more than 30 meetings each year.

In addition, Letts is active in a variety of philanthropic causes in metro Detroit, including HAVEN of Oakland County. He has served as past director of the MSU Alumni Association of Oakland County and is a past president and director of Brother Rice High School Business Alliance.

Letts has a bachelor of arts degree in finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. He has also guest-lectured students at the university’s Broad College, presenting on core principles of financial management.
