THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM leader Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has said the government will resolve extensive complaints raised against policemen.

Kodiyeri was replying to CPM Thiruvananthapuram district conference representatives.

“The CPM’s stand is to cooperate with CPI. The CPM aims at Left unity. There was nothing wrong in CPM general secretary Yechury demanding impeachment of Supreme Court chief justice. Don’t give other interpretation to his stand,” he said.

Representatives at the conference said that Yechury had greed for positions and good names. “Yechury, who speaks up for tie-up with the Congress to defeat BJP has specific aims. He is desperate over not being able to become an MP. He would go to any extent for positions.”

Home Ministry handled by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also came under criticism. The representatives said majority in police are RSS men and the chief minister was doing nothing to control them.
