The Rajya Sabha was adjourned today till 1400 hrs after Opposition created uproar over “fake’ encounters in Uttar Pradesh and ongoing sealing drive in the National Capital.
After the laying of papers, when the Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu called for the Zero Hour, Naresh Agrawal of the Samajwadi Party raised the issue of “fake’ encounter in UP and Sanjay Singh of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) raised the matter of the ongoing sealing drive in Delhi.
The Chair did not permit the members to raise the matter under Rule 267 and called for the Zero Hour.
