Slick roadways blamed for accidents

Law enforcement personnel were called to a rash of accidents Sunday evening as freezing rain followed by snow rolled into the area.
Findlay police, the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office and the local post of the State Highway Patrol were kept busy responding to a number of cars sliding off the roadways.
The sheriff’s office responded to an injury accident reported at the intersection of Ohio 568 and Hancock County 330 at about 3:35 p.m.
The patrol was called to the scene of an injury accident in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 near the Wood County line about 5:45 p.m. No details were available on either accident Sunday night.
