"Eela" is produced by Ajay Devgn who, Neha said, had produced her first film too, "so it was very nostalgic to sign it." In the film, Neha plays a drama instructor called Padma. While the shoot of the movie has already begun, the 37-year-old actor will be joining the team later this month.
