Days after Ankit Saxena was killed in New Delhi, allegedly by the family members of a woman with whom he was in a relationship for three years, CCTV footage has emerged showing the 23-year-old photographer's last moments on camera.
In the the video, Ankit is seen standing on an unidentified street in Delhi talking on a phone. The footage is around 30 seconds long and ends with him walking away from the spot and out of the CCTV camera's frame.
Ankit's murder last Thursday made headlines across the country after it emerged that he was killed allegedly by the family members of a Muslim girl whom he was seeing.
"I was going to meet him when I got to know (about Ankit's murder). My family has killed him. My uncle has done this," the woman, identified as Shehzadi, previously told India Today.
According to the police, Shehzadi's family was opposed to her relationship with Ankit Saxena since the two belonged to different communities. Shehzadi's father, mother, uncle and minor brother have been arrested in connection with Ankit's murder.
