I respond to the Jan. 27 Dispatch article “Ohio GOP voters like renewable energy.” I stand in support of the Ohio Conservative Energy Forum.
As a military veteran, I will be first to say energy is a national defense and security issue. We must fight for and embrace energy in all of its forms; it is essential to the American way of life.
As a conservative, I would hope the legislature would remove all red tape and ensure a higher priority to Ohioans seeking energy self-sufficiency — not a handout, but certainly a hand up.
Ohio needs to lead this nation in energy innovation in all of its forms; our economy, security and safety demand it.
