Kylie Jenner announces birth of baby girl

Kylie Jenner, the youngest member of the Kardashian dynasty has announced the arrival of her daughter, born February 1, with Travis Scott.

The 20-year-old reality star and beauty mogul posted the news to Instagram, apologising for keeping her 101 million followers in the dark until now.

She also shared a video entitled "To Our Daughter", documenting her journey to motherhood, a period in which she was rarely seen in public.

The clip includes old footage of her mother, Kris Jenner, in labour with her youngest daughter, reactions from friends and intimate moments with her boyfriend, rapper Travis Scott.

Last week it was reported that Jenner would not be hiring a nanny because she's "worried about new people around her baby". Instead she will lean on her mother for support.

The latest addition to the family of reality TV stars arrives just weeks after big sister Kim's third child, Chicago West, and ahead of sister Khloe's first baby, due in March.
