Police arrested a Lincoln woman early Monday after they say she stabbed her brother in the face with scissors following an argument over cleaning the dishes.

The incident occurred shortly after 12:30 a.m. at 1741 S.W. 32nd St., Officer Angela Sands said.

The 30-year-old man sustained a "significant" stab wound on his cheek, Sands said.

Officers arrested Sisouvone Sothphrachith on suspicion of second-degree assault.
