Roadways are ice and snow-covered tonight in parts of the area, and there are numerous reports of slide-offs and crashes across the region.
Southbound Interstate 75 reopened around 1 a.m. Southbound lanes had been closed at the 66 mile marker, just south of Tipp City after multiple crashes were reported. At least three vehicles were reportedly involved in a collision, including an officer’s cruiser.

“We have seen some rain and with the cold air coming in we are seeing some of that rain freeze over,” said Storm Center 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar.
A few light to moderate snow showers are moving through, which will bring up to 1 inch of fresh snow.

Slick spots will continue to be a problem through early Monday.
