Three people including two SSC examinees were killed in a road accident in Puthia upazila of Rajshahi on Monday morning. The dead were identified as Rakib, 16, Mostafizur, 16, and his father Abdul Momin, 40.
Quoting witnesses, Puthia police OC Shahedur Rahman said a speeding bus rammed into a motorcycle on Tarapur road at about 9:45am, leaving three bike riders dead on the spot.
Tragedy struck down the three when they were going to an examination centre from Puthia to Baneshwar.
The fire service recovered the bodies and took them to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.
Police could not arrest the bus driver as he fled the scene alongwith his vehicle.
