Rose Landers, 67, of Iowa City, died peacefully Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at her home after a long illness, surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City.
A parish rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Iowa City. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Iowa City. Instead of flowers and plants, memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice or the Iowa ALS Association.
Survivors include her husband, Bill; children, Bridget (Benjamin) Kulik of Geneva, Ill., and their daughter, Nora, Matthew (Heather) of Fort Collins, Colo., and their children, Kieran, Connor, Anneliese and Eleanor, and Michael (Abby) Landers of Onalaska, Wis., and their children, Evelyn and Colin; siblings, Lorraine (Bob) Vormezeele, Anne (Foster) Colby, Alice (Fred) Kraiss, Joan Didier, Julie Willkom, Sue (John) Cocoma, Bill (Deni) Walsh, Bernie (Deb) Walsh, Tom (Julie) Walsh, Fran (Joe) McGinnis and Molly (Phil) Johnson; mother-in-law, Lorraine Landers; sisters-in-law, Mary (Steve) Hunter and Jane (Brian) Schmidt; brother-in-law, Jim (Jeannette Stellato) Landers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents; and two siblings, Dave and Ed Walsh.
