Real Madrid cancel training and tell players to stay at home
REAL MADRID have told their first-team players NOT to arrive for training after a freak snow storm in the Spanish capital.

Real Madrid’s players were expected to train this afternoon at the Valdebebas complex.
But the club have sent a message to all players and staff warning them against coming in.
Snow has fallen heavily across Spain toady.
Flights have been cancelled or diverted away from Madrid’s main airport because of the storm.
The airport was forced to close one of their four runways.

And Real Madrid have warned their players to avoid the travel chaos themselves.
Marca report players were informed of the decision not to take training earlier today.
Real Madrid’s training complex has no indoor pitches.
Luckily for manager Zinedine Zidane, the impact of cancelling training is not as great as it could be heading into their next game.

Real are not playing this midweek, having been knocked out of the Copa del Rey in the quarter-final stages.
Their next game is at home to Real Sociedad on Saturday.
Real Madrid posted a video of their Bernabeu stadium with the pitch covered in snow today.
The snow is expected to have been cleared by the weekend.
