
Although she arrives at the state opening of Parliament in a traditional horse-drawn carriage, Queen Elizabeth II has become well-known for eschewing the chauffeur and taking to the driver's seat herself. Indeed, it's often been said that she loves to drive, and does so as often as she can.
As you'd expect, her automotive tastes through the years have been firmly British, with a host of Daimlers – such as this one – as well as Jaguars and Land Rovers taking pride of place in the fleet.
