WATERBURY! CHICAGO in training.
And In Today’s Shooting…
Not to worry.. Once MS-13 takes over it’ll be machete slashing…
12:30 in the afternoon… So what time to law abiding citizens have to be in their homes to avoid being caught in the crossfire?????
Actually Con, law breakers they may be, but Waterbury Shooters have been pretty accurate thus far. You need to give credit where credit is due. Also why fire when witnesses are around?
Sanctuary City, Sanctuary State….we don’t know who Heck is living amongst us. The worst thing Malloy and his minions did was to give us strict gun laws. Now everybody has guns except the citizens! We are no longer protected in our own cities and state. If you want to go for a walk in Waterbury; buy a tread mill!
Register citizen today. A felon with a gun enters a home brandishing a gun. The laws apparently are only for hobbyists and those who want to protect themselves from criminals.
What say you Philthy?? Still think the city is safe? There is literally a shooting everyday in which an innocent bystander could get caught in. When will you admit that there may be a problem???
Yes I do think the city is safe. These individuals shooting each other have personal problems with each other.
Crossfire???
Again. No section of the city is safe be it day or night. Another reason not to travel around Waterbury.
This is why places like Portugal are legalizing drugs and treating it as a medical and health crisis instead of a criminal problem. If they had a legitimate business instead of addicts posing as entrepreneurs trying rip off drug crazed people… Lead is the better business bureau of the street and probably every junkie cheers because there is one less person trying to rip them off. But taking guns and police state are two big pillars of Alinsky socialism so what difference does it make? With both parties eating corporate money like candy, the people, freedom and America, is just words.
I can hardly wait for that new safe space ( greenway) to be completed on Freight St.
A real live, first class shooting gallery…
Maybe that is where they will put the cops on horses from there to to the green.
every day, another shooting. every shooting, the same comments. it’s like clockwork. there is always some comment on the firearms restrictions. another comment on immigrants. every. single. time.
frankly i’m not terribly interested as to the underlying cause of the upsurge in shootings in the city, whether it’s gangs becoming more established, drugs, whatever. i just want the police to put a stop to it.
Don’t hold your breath on that!
Comments like yours are the problem. You should care. If you don’t care why should anyone else. Why should the police put their lives on the line when you don’t care. Just let that sink in!
Just like in other cities and states with super strict gun laws, CT too has a higher rate of shootings and deaths by gunfire. Gun control nuts just don’t get it that more guns in the hands of honest, law abiding citizens equals less crime, gun related crime in particular, yet they keep making it harder for good citizens to have self protection. As more and more states enact Constitutional concealed carry (no permit required), CT is considering even more restrictive gun laws. When will they ever learn? More than time to put gun friendly Republicans in charge of the state!
The real problem with asking the cops to put a stop to it is, when they catch and release them, or charge taxpayers 40 to 50 grand to put them in prison for a year. There is collateral damage too, like that whole family that got run over in a police chase. People who have nothing to do with drugs are maimed or killed forever and they catch and release drug people or charge you 40+ grand a year to put them in prison. I often wonder, when your local cops do a wonderful job and there are almost no sales in your community, is that really a better solution when you consider someone’s loved one who is basically mentally ill on opioids, has to go to the North End or South End or East End to get their fix. The influx of customers because the suburban response differs so much from the city response which almost like charging less to cross the bridge on certain hours. One could argue this is a terrible civil rights abuse on everyone of every color who live in the cities. But the more things change, the more they stay the same.
