Subsequently, he entered the corporate world, helping to establish successful online education companies.
In making the appointment, Governor Baker noted, “Lieutenant Governor Polito and I appreciate your willingness to serve the Commonwealth in this capacity. Congratulations on your appointment, and best wishes for success.”
Flores stated, “I am honored and excited to be appointed to the Cape Cod Community College Board of Trustees by Governor Baker. My primary goal will be to ensure academic excellence and fiscal responsibility coupled with a commitment to transparency with everyone associated with the college. In particular, offering the best courses and opportunities to all learners no matter one’s age will be a priority for me. I look forward to working collaboratively with everyone at the college. “
Cape Cod Community College President John Cox recently welcomed the new board member to campus, where they talked about the state of the college today and common goals moving forward.
“I’m very pleased to welcome John, and recognize his depth of experience in key aspects of higher education that are so important to our students," said Cox. " I applaud his commitment to excellence in all that we offer here at the college."
