LOVES PARK — Rockford Park District will hold a new Winter Golf Academy program for ages 12-18 from 7 to 9:15 p.m. Wednesdays, Feb. 14 through March 21, and Mondays, Feb. 19 through March 19, at the Indoor Sports Center at Mercyhealth Sportscore Two, 8800 Riverside Blvd.
The Academy will train golfers on their game as well as prepare them for life and golf through mental and physical training. Each week consists of a classroom period, a full swing period and some short game or golf workout and stretching sessions, all led by professional staff and certified trainers.
