A 49-year-old Raceland man was arrested Friday after committing several sexual acts with a juvenile, authorities said.
According to the Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s Office, detectives began investigating Jimmy Arabie Sr. in late December after receiving information he had made “inappropriate contact” with a minor.
Following an investigation, detectives obtained warrants for Arabie’s arrest and took him into custody Friday. He was charged with sexual battery (forcible fondling), indecent behavior with a juvenile and peeping tom, authorities said.
Arabie was released Friday night after posting a $100,500 bond.
